Interface Performance Materials

Interface Performance Materials ("Interface"), headquartered in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, designs and manufactures fiber-reinforced gasket materials for automotive, heavy-duty diesel, small engine, transmission and compressor applications, as well as composite materials used in calendar bowl paper, heat shields and electrical barriers. Interface serves over 200 customers throughout the world. It manufactures products from six facilities in the United States and a seventh facility in Germany and has sales offices around the globe.

Wind Point acquired Interface in December 2011. Our value creation plan includes supporting international growth by expanding Interface’s footprint and product lines, implementing productivity and cost-savings initiatives, and completing add-on acquisitions.

Interface is led by Victor Swint, who most recently served as the group president of Global Automotive Group, a division of Illinois Tool Works (ITW).
