Stir Foods

Stir Foods, headquartered in Orange County, California, is a custom manufacturer of soups, sauces, dressings and muffin batters for both retail and foodservice customers. Stir Foods was formed via the simultaneous acquisition of Stir Foods and Pacifica Foods in December of 2017. The combination of these businesses formed a platform better equipped to service existing customers through a more diverse set of product and packaging offerings (sizes and formats), additional capacity for growth, and greater culinary expertise and resources.

Wind Point and the Stir Foods team have been executing a value creation plan, which includes growing with core customers, adding new customers and new channels, enhancing margins through productivity improvements, and completing accretive add-on acquisitions.

Stir Foods is led by John Pooley, a proven leader in consumer packaged goods (CPG). Prior to Stir, John founded and was CEO of L&L Foods. In 2015, he sold L&L to Peacock Foods, which was subsequently sold to Hearthside Food Solutions. Prior to L&L, John was President of Golden State Foods. Before that, John held various leadership roles at ConAgra Foods.
